Wednesdays are crazy around here. Jonah goes to school from 7:45-2:20. It's a little after 2:30 by the time we get home. We then turn right back around and go to his old preschool for his piano class from 3:30-4:15 and then we head straight to church. Dinner doesn't start at church until 5:15, but there would be no point in coming home for just a few minutes - plus that's one less time I have to get Isaac in and out. We hang out at church and he plays with the cooks' kids until time for dinner. Chad joins us by 5:30 and we eat as a family. Jonah and I are then off to KFC (Kids for Christ Children's choir - of which I am the director) while Chad and Isaac hang out in the nursery. At 7:00, after KFC, Chad and the boys head home and I stay at church to accompany choir practice. It's a crazy whirlwind and it's not really ideal for Jonah to have to be so busy, but Wednesdays are the ONLY day his music teacher offers the piano class. I told Chad this morning that if I had to choose between piano class and KFC for Jonah, I would actually choose the piano class. I know that may sound crazy, considering I'm the KFC director, but I just want him to continue with piano - I feel it is benefiting him more right now than KFC. Anyway, that's our crazy day. Poor Isaac catches catnaps whenever he can. I always try to make sure we are home on Wednesday mornings so he can at least get a good morning nap. Luckily, he's pretty go-with-the-flow, that sweet baby boy.
Well, I would write more, but it's almost 3:00, so it's time to head 'em up and move 'em out...I mean...it's time to leave for piano class. The nice thing about all of this is that my super sweet husband has both boys in bed before I get home from church. I love to come home to peace and quiet. Thanks, Chad!
