It was a GREAT Mother's day. It started off with a wonderful worship service which included Isaac's baby dedication. My mom (Ga-Ga) and Chad's dad (Grandpa) and brother (Uncle Cory) drove up this morning to join us. It was really nice to have them in worship with us. Afterwards we had lunch at the Olive Garden and then they came back to the house to visit for a little while. As usual, in her always-generous manner, Ga-Ga came bearing gifts. A stuffed "Big Bird" for Isaac and a baseball and bat for Jonah. They both loved their gifts, but I think Jonah enjoyed the Big Bird just as much, if not more, than Isaac.

Speaking of gifts, I was surprised quite nicely this morning with a wooden memory box made by Jonah (at Lowe's) and gift cards to Starbucks and JC Penney's. My boys take good care of me! Jonah actually did most of the hammering involved.
